Trying a little Color Block Outfit

For this look, I wanted to do something cute, flirty and playful. I’ve seen a lot of color blocked dresses using the color red and pink. I wanted to recreate one of those dresses with clothes from my closet. Let’s get into it.

Let’s get pretty in pink. I started with this pink a-line pink dress from Torrid. This is such a nice dress that gives just the right amount of flair at the bottom. This is perfect for acting as a skirt for our second piece. From there, I added this thrifted cropped red cardigan. I feel the cardigan goes well with the skirt, almost giving the outfit a retro look. Finishing off this festive outfit, I went with some white boots. This outfit is darling. I think that it’s a nice mix of casual with just enough dressy.
