Bringing in the Dramatic with this Baggy Jean and Plus Size Balloon Sleeve Top
For this outfit, I went with a dramatic but also casual look as I use a mix of trends and unique pieces to create an interesting look.
I started with these baggy jeans. Oversized denim is on trend this season, and I’ve been loving this pair from Target. They’re baggy in just the right places, which is perfect for my apple shaped body.
Next, I went with this very elaborate top. This is one of the most dramatic tops I own. With its oversized sleeves and fitted bodice, I feel it makes the perfect juxtaposition against the baggy jeans. This also helps with balance on my apple shaped body—not too much fabric or too little.
Finishing the look, I went with strappy heels to give a little height and to keep with the feminine flair from the top. I love this top with these jeans. Given my apple shape, I love to pair oversized bottoms with a tighter top. I think this gives just the right amount of dramatic, but still casual and fun.
