Style For Days: Faux Leather Leggings

Style for Days is a series on my blog where I take one closet essential item and show you different ways to style it. Today, it’s all about Faux Leather leggings

I love faux leather leggings. It’s one of those closet staples that I didn’t know I needed until I had a pair. Unlike your regular black leggings, these leggings can work in so many places in your wardrobe. You can dress them up. You can dress them down. There is so much you can do with this simple closet essential. Today, I’m going to show you some of my favorite ways to style faux leather leggings.

Outfit One:

For the first outfit, I wanted to keep it simple. This is an everyday outfit that is perfect for a casual coffee date or running errands. I started with a white t-shirt and paired it with an oversized denim jacket and chunky sneakers. I love the look you get with the oversized denim jacket and the faux leather leggings. The combo gives it a bit of street style, but still makes it dressy enough to wear out to lunch.

Outfit two:

This is another altered street style look. I started with this grey hoodie top and paired it with this denim jacket. I added these heeled combat boots to match the leather edginess of the jacket. This is another casual, but dressed up look that is easy going but filled with style.

Outfit three:

For the next outfit, I wanted to show the dressier ways that you can mix in the leggings. I paired the leggings with a simple white mockneck shirt. I added tan boots and a tan trench coat to create a cute cold weather look.

Outfit four:

Outfit four is my favorite. I paired this white button down top with the leggings for a fierce business but sexy casual look. From there, I added the leather jacket and black heeled ankle boots for a little edge. This outfit is so fun and flirty. It gives a rough leather look with a dash of femininity.

Outfit Five:

 Given that I live in Florida, I get so excited when it’s cold enough to pull out my sweaters. This white cable-knit sweater is perfect with these leggings for a fun day to night look. You can pair it with a simple pair of sneakers or flats for the daytime. Then, you can change those out for pumps or a heeled boot to spice up the look. This is such a basic outfit, but has so many uses.
