10 Walmart Fall Clothing Items You Need To Add To Your Plus Size and Midsize Closet

Now that it’s officially fall, It’s time to pull out your favorite sweaters and fall pieces from your closet. One of the things that I love to do is refresh my cold weather wardrobe with a few new pieces. This is not the time to break the bank on new clothes. We are simply refreshing our closets not restarting them. This is why I was so happy to find so many cute and budget friendly pieces at Walmart. If you’re looking for great fall clothes for your plus size or midsize body then this list is for you. I’ve created six looks mixing in pieces that I already own with the pieces from Walmart. I did this to show you that, with a well stocked closet of basics, you can just refresh your wardrobe with a few new things. Not only that, you can shop your closet to create some amazing looks for fall. Let’s get start!

Items From Walmart:

  • Sweater Vest: Time and Tru Women’s Sweater Vest $17.98

  • Flare Jeans: Sofia Jeans Seamed Melisa High Rise Flare $29.50

The first outfit is simple, but such a cute and on trend look. I love that Flare jeans are back in style. Flare jeans were always my favorite growing up, and now I’m loving the more mature and classic version like the ones I have here. These jeans are from the Sofia Vegara jean line found on Walmart.com. They’re comfortable, but very form fitting so I do suggest that you size up. The sweater vest is from the Time and Tru brand. It’s a little oversized, but I bought my regular size and it fits nicely. It’s just big enough to give you an oversized look, but tailored in the arms so that nothing shows. You could wear this alone or with a shirt underneath and still have a cute look.

  • Plaid Dress Pants: Time and Tru Pull on Dress Pants $16.98

If you’re looking for a casual outfit for the office, I’ve got you covered. I paired this Mockneck Tank Top with these Plaid dress pants (both from Time and Tru) for a business casual look. These plaid pants are perfect for the fall with their light gray, black, and tan color pattern. These trousers will get a lot of use in my wardrobe all year long.

Items From Walmart:

This is one of my favorite casual outfit combinations for fall/winter season. These faux leather leggings from Walmart are extremely comfortable and have such a nice price tag. I paired these adorable leggings with this white henley top. This top is just the right amount of oversized for that fun casual look, but fitted enough so you’re not swimming in fabric. I finished the look off with an oversized denim jacket. This one is thrifted, but oversized jackets have been on trend for some time so I’m sure you will have no trouble finding one that you’ll love.

Items From Walmart:

I was so hesitant when getting this skirt. I wasn’t sure it was going to look good on my plus size body, and the dressing rooms were closed. Then there is the fact that the only size they had left was slightly bigger than I like to buy for skirts. However, after styling this skirt, I can honestly say it’s a new favorite in my collection. I paired this skirt with another mockneck tank top to create a casual and cute look. You could easily pair it with a sweater for an adorable cold weather style.

*The belts are from Amazon. They’re made for dresses and I love them. I will link them below.

This is another of my go to fall outfit combinations. I’m bringing back the faux leather leggings, but this time in brown. There is something about these leggings that just read 90’s, and I love that. I paired these pants with a simple white button down from Walmart and one of my favorite cable knit sweaters. Outfits like this one are so versatile. You can dress it up with a nice pair of boots or keep it casual with a pair of your favorite sneakers. There is so much you can do with these pieces.

I paired the dress with my favorite leather jacket and a pair of boots to give it a little texture and edge. This dress is a perfect piece to add to your collection and perfect for creating some great looks throughout the fall and winter season.
