Neutral Plus Size Looks for the Spring

If you know one thing about me it's that I love neutrals. My closet is filled with neutral wardrobe  staples that help me build so many cute outfits. Typically, I wear a lot of black and gray when it comes to neutrals. However, in the spirit of spring, I wanted to break out some lighter toned neutrals. Here are the four neutral colors that you need for the spring and some examples of how to style each color.

The Colors

White:

White is such a bright color for the spring. After a long winter of black and gray, it's nice to break out a lighter color. White is a neutral that works well alone, with other neutrals, and bold prints.

Ivory:

While white is bright and crisp, Ivory is a cream off white color with hints of yellow. This color is bright, but still gives a warmth to an outfit. Ivory is beautiful as a monochromatic look.

Beige:

Beige is a lighter tan color and is perfect for spring. It's a creamy brown color that works great as   a base piece to bolder colors.

 Camel:

This golden brown color is a rich neutral that adds a deep splash of color to an outfit. Camel looks great paired against ivory and other lighter tones.

The Outfits

Outfit One

For Outfit one, I wanted to go with something fun, but casual. I paired this ivory pleated skirt with this muted beige t-shirt. I love these colors together. The muted beige top brings out the bright, cream color of the skirt. It's fun and flirty which is perfect for spring.

Outfit Two

These beige paperbag trousers are a perfect piece for spring. I went with a white button down to show a business casual look for the season.

Outfit Four

This outfit is a nighttime look that mixes flirty neutral spring tones with evening flair. I paired this beige bodycon dress with a camel colored leather jacket. These colors work so well together. The dress is light and airy, but the jacket is bold brings in your attention.
