Pocket Full of Sunshine: Plus Size Polka Dot Wrap Dress Outfit with a Modern Twist
For this outfit, I wanted to bring in the sunshine. With polka dots being on trend for the spring, I was excited to put together this joyful and casual look.
I started with this mustard yellow dress. Like I said, I read that polka dots are on trend. I honestly never thought that they weren’t in style. i’ve always loved them. I’ve had this dress for a few years and have loved wearing it in so many ways. I guess this just goes to show that you find the latest trends within your wardrobe.
I wanted to add some contrast to this very bright and playful dress, so I added this jacket. I love styling oversized jean jackets with dresses. The mix of softness with denim just works so well for me.
Finishing the look, I went with these clogs (yes, I said clogs). I saw these at Target and knew that I needed them. They made me think of a brown pair I had in high school, except mine didn’t have a strap. They’re retro, interesting, and I love them.
That’s the look. I love this outfit combo. I especially love the mix of the dress with the clogs. The denim jacket is a perfect topper to a very interesting outfit.
